Method
- Lay puff pastry flat on a clean surface
- Put half of the diced apples in the center of the pastry in a circle.
- Place half of the brown sugar into the center with the apples then sprinkle apples with cinnamon (optional)
- Fold the pastry over and roll up the sides into a circular shape around the apples
- Brush melted butter onto the pastry
- Repeat above steps for second dumpling
- Cook in the air fryer at 365°F | 185°C for 12 minutes (in this demonstration we used a Chefman RJ38-P1)
- Flip dumpling over and continue cooking for 12-13 more minutes at 365°F | 185°C
- Remove from air fryer, plate and enjoy!
Notes
* To save time, you can use canned apple pie filling.
** Make sure to seal the pastry thoroughly to avoid leaks during the cooking process.
